Stackable dining chair for outdoor use

From initial idea to 4 usable prototypes
Though it looks and feels like an indoor chair, comfort is not the only feature that describes its use. This chair is designed to bring the cozy indoor feeling outside.
The design for the frame was kept simple and open so the chairs, even on busy terraces would feel inviting. The stackability makes the chair flexible for various occasions and locations.
The wood used is treated to make it withstand the elements for at least 25 years. The fabric, designed for tents and awnings, makes sure the seating endures the weather to accompany the wooden frame. Natural colours were chosen to emphasise the relieved feeling we get when the first sun rays come out and we can broaden our living space by going outside.
Stack is a chair for sharing comfort, indoors as well as outdoors.
