Steven Polak

As a designer I love working on the crossroad between craft and design. Sketching Ideas, tinkering details and setting it up in 3D software.

I love getting my hands dirty; making models, building prototypes or soldering LED’s – without practical knowledge I believe a design will never evolve into a feasible product.
Although my love is with wood, I work with several materials – as long as there is a natural connection to them. Ceramics, glass, metal, fabrics, straw, e.o.

My mixed educational background in both design and craft help me forward on my crusade of making sketches into beautiful products.
